The ever-changing beauty and awesome power of the great Lake Michigan drew us to this spot, all the way from Sussex, Great Britain.  We are certain your spirit will also be enriched by this gorgeous inland sea and the majestic sunrise above endless waters.  You can enjoy this experience each morning from the comfort of your own room.  In addition, being lulled to sleep each night by the soothing rhythm of the waves is a magical way to end your day. Our three acres of natural splendor includes a gorgeous (very private) beach and wooded areas.  Bird watching is so much fun to do through our dining room windows.  Many species can be spotted at our bird feeders. Another favorite pastime of guests is hiking along the beach searching for special rocks or driftwood to bring home as a memento of their trip.  The lovely boardwalk in Algoma, is a great place for both hiking and jogging.  One can also jaunt out the lighthouse. Our hammock nestled in the trees provides a quite spot to relax on the beach or to enjoy a book.  We provide comfortable outdoor furniture on the private deck and beach areas where one can sit and savor the view.  Each moonlit night can be enjoyed while basking in the warm glow of the nightly bonfires on the beach.  Roasting marshmallows and enjoying the celestial display makes this an even more memorable occasion.

  The original Cape Cod style house was built in the early twentieth century and has received many thoughtfully planned additions throughout the years.  The result is a cozy inn which possesses the charm of the past but contains all the modern amenities that our guests have come to expect.

For the ultimate in luxury, privacy and beauty, come to the Morning Glory.  Relax in the comfortable wicker chairs,. Soak  in your state of the art whirlpool tub, and bathroom Watch the sunrise  whilst you lay in bed, or enjoy your own very private deck and watch the moonbeams skip across the waters.  This breathtaking room is our most requested . This room also has double shower, TV/VCR microwave &   refrigerator.

Delight your palate with Nicky`s cooked authentic full English breakfast or English pancakes for an extra charge. Or enjoy  continental plus, fresh fruits cereals cheeses and home baked goods, included in your stay, eat from English fine bone china.  Quench your thirst with juice and a wide assortment of teas, hot cocoa, or delicious coffee. Eat among friends in our beautiful dining room while you gaze at the lake, or eat Al Fresco on our decking overlooking the water.
